    It’s $2.79 here, but that’s still about 70c cheaper than it was a month ago. And HUGELY cheaper than it was when I went back to the UK the other week - honestly, I spent more money on petrol in a week than I do in more than a month here!

    It is about darn time. I filled my car/SUV up (it was on less then a quarter of a tank) for less then $38. I was sooooo happy. I would have been jumping for joy if I did not just get out of work.

    Unfortunately, the oil price sank in unison with the Australian dollar, so very little benefit here as yet. We’re still paying $1.40 a litre, but that beats $1.70 as it was a few months ago!
