I’m in a scripting class this semester that never fails to make me

scream in frustration
curse the day Bill Gates was born, an
reaffirm my love for my MacBook and all the Apple software I use on a daily basis.

But I’m taking it because I enjoy playing around with web technology, and really, it’s always good to learn new software, even if it is Microsoft and still in beta (fucking Silverlight, I swear we’re only using it because the dept couldn’t afford the Adobe products…). I’ll never be a hard core IT person, but I’ll definitely be a good liason between the IT dept and the rest of the people in the library. And I get to play around online and create stuff like this little thing (don’t tell my prof, but the entire thing was shot and editied in iMovie, not Windows Movie Maker.)

If you have major issues with Silverlight, or are using a version of Firefox that doesn’t like the plugins Microsoft forces you to download (totally not Firefoxe’s fault though. at least I’m choosing to blame it on Gates), here’s a stripped down version.
