I’ve been looking after my Mum’s orange stripey cat while she’s been overseas for a few weeks. He looks a lot like Marty, only fatter. The poor kitty sustained an eye injury in the hurricane a few weeks ago, so he had to have fairly extensive eye surgery. It’s healing beautifully, but he needs to be an indoor cat for a few weeks. Oh, the misery! On top of this, he’s missing my Mum dreadfully (I know how he feels!). So every time I open her front door to let myself in, I find Aslan crouched right behind the door just as Marty is in your picture. Aslan darts forward into the front garden and I crash tackle him to the ground and heft him back inside again. It’s kind of hard moving 7kg of angry kitty.
But I guess the other two are better pleased now they can get back into the porch!
