what we did today

By me • Apr 25th, 2008 • Category: cats, school, today's blog 365 post

Foster: During lunch I stole some tuna from mom’s sandwich. Licked myself. Chased a few toys. Licked myself. Gave Marty some pointers on his roulette technique. Licked myself. Did a little ‘nip. Licked myself.

Marty: remembered how to inhale AND exhale, licked myself.

Harvey: So there’s this drawer, right? And it’s so cool, but you never know when it’s going to be open, so you have to follow mom really closely when she goes anywhere near the closet, because if she opens the drawer, you can jump in the drawer, and then YOU CAN SIT IN THE DRAWER!!!!!!!! And licking myself while sitting in the drawer is the highlight of my day.

Sara: Turned in a 20pg paper about privacy in online social networks that was written in approx 48 hours. Had a beer. Watched the cats lick themselves. Called it a day.

  1. Sounds easy enough
I got up at 4:30., got the kids up at 5:00, dropped said kids off at the sitter at 5:20, booked it to work where I (gasp) got a parking spot within walking distance of the building (>10 mins) was at my desk at 6, fought with a computer for 5 hours, did about an hour and a half of real, actual work. Booked it south to Renton for a 1pm doctor’s appointment, sat in said appointment for 3 hours, then crawled back north in an hour and a half (Renton is 50 minutes away) Tomorrow I get to take the bird to the vet at 9am, fun!

I wish I could just sit in a drawer, but I think I’ll pass on the licking myself.

  2. I could totally sit in a drawer all day if I had to. It sounds more appealing than the things I’m supposed to be doing anyway.
