VD Day

Ah yes, the Black 14th. Single Awareness Day. VD Day. Surprisingly though, it’s just not getting me down this year. I’ve realized that I’m just not ready for a relationship at this point in my life. My life is consumed by school and work at the moment. And while I’m miles better than I was last fall, my heart is still healing from my last relationship. It’s almost there, but I’m not going to force anything until I’m sure it’s ready. See - I’ve learned my lesson, don’t date someone you care for unless you’re in a good place to begin with because you’ll just end up losing someone you love. Wow, I can’t believe I just realized that. I think that’s called growing up, right???

So while I’m optimistic that next year I’ll be donning a black lacy garter and gettin’ some on Feb. 14th; this year I decided that I could still celebrate true love in it’s purest form by showing you the happiest couple I know in action.
