even bots have needs

Lately, thanks to my handy dandy Bot-tracker plugin, I’ve noticed a slight increase in bot traffic on my site. And by a light increase I mean a whole hell of a lot of bot traffic.

That’s how many times in the month of February they’ve visited my site. And 95% of the visits have been from Google’s bot. Which just makes me wonder what in the hell is going on. After all, this is not an important site…well, not to anyone but me. Seriously, Google has many more important things to be working on. There has to be some ulterior motive. So, curious, I typed in the phrase “stereotypical single woman.” And sure enough, this humble little blog popped up as the #1 hit.

Apparently even bots have needs. And opinions.
