snow day!!!

Finally, a real snow storm! Growing up I loved snow days - it’s such a great excuse to stay in, be lazy, and drink lots of warm beverages ( and get your cats high.) Ever since moving here I’ve been waiting to see a really good snow storm from my 9th floor wall of windows; I knew that as long as I was safe and warm it’d be a beautiful sight. And it definitely is - the photos don’t do it justice. Today looks like it’s going to be a great snow day too - I’m sitting here writing code, drinking a cup of coffee, with a (completely stoned) cat snoring on my lap. It really doesn’t get much cozier than this. Everyone stay safe and warm!

That sounds so fun. I wish that snow could make my exam go away
wow I sure am glad I stayed home. Driving in that crap would have been hell on four wheels.
The only thing that creases me is that in cities where you GET good snow, they usually expect you to keep on going…
I’m from the South. Snow means stay at home. Now that I’m in NY - and since I’m not a teacher or in a similar profession - they still expect me at work. ON TIME.
Growing up sucks. ;P
