Wait, let me say that again.
I had to go to work.
I am finally employed! And it’s not at Michaels! It’s at a real live library! And I’m going to be paid! Not much, but still, it’s a paycheck! And yeah, I’m going to the be the public library equivalent of the dorky computer lab monitor you (and by you I mean I) made fun of in undergrad. But still, it’s something in my field! And in a city with a 14% unemployment rate anything at all would have been wonderful. And honestly, even though I won’t be working until the middle of the month, I’m excited to start. And I’m even more excited about the prospect of not having to worry about money next semester. In fact, I would even go as far to say that I’m planning on relaxing and enjoying this weekend. Especially since I’m having visitors, in particular one little visitor that will most likely be moving to the other side of the country in a month.
Don’t worry, there will be many pictures posted before the weekend is over.

Glad to hear you found work! I spent most of my summer (May - July) looking for work, and it wasn’t until August that I finally found a job. I can’t imagine how stressful it would have been had I been in school at the same time…
Okay, so where’d you get the job? T????? So much for telling me…shame on you! If it is that place, I think you’ll like it. The folks are very nice there; their new director was my mentor and she’s great! Oh, and you’ll have to come and visit me when I work in the Lil’ Kiddies room!
BTW, a cat is adopting us. He is absolutely adorable and obnoxiously friendly…just my type!
