Little Miss Raven

I spent this weekend visiting some friends in Saginaw and it was just a wonderful time. There’s just something about being with old friends who have known you for almost 15 years and love you no matter what to help put everything into perspective. Sure you may be going through a lot, but they are there for you, and it’s great to just sit back, eat some good food, talk until the wee hours of the morning, and play with their sweet, adorable, smart, and funny little girl. I honestly don’t know when I’ve felt happier and more rested.

I had made a very badly edited little video to show you but my camera didn’t transfer over the sound, and that means you wouldn’t hear Raven and the rest of us laughing, so instead here’s just some raw footage from the best evening I’ve had in a very long time.

Oh, and to top off a great visit, when Julie and I went for a walk we were honked at by a car full of guys. Sure, they were probably drunk, but it’s the little things like that which really helps the newly 30-something ego.
