a nice welcome home

I’ve been anxiously watching my rose bushes and waiting for the first bloom of the year. It’s been a rough couple of weeks and my therapy has been caring for these plants. Okay, that and drinking a lot of wine. Usually while taking care of the plants. And while fixing dinner. And while listening to the NPR while eating dinner. And while playing with the cats. And while doing the dishes after dinner. Basically anytime I’m home and awake. I cannot begin to tell you how happy it made me to see what greeted me when I got home from work yesterday.
