This is what happens when you’re sitting around waiting to hear about someone in the hospital - to distract yourself from bad thoughts you are constantly searching the web and come across pictures like this that you feel absolutely must be shared with the internet community at large:

Obviously I’ve been obsessively checking my bloglines account today, so I knew the minute the Barenaked Ladies updated their blog, and got excessively happy when I read:

“Looking forward to the Detroit show tomorrow. We always have a fantastic time at the Palace and a lot of the venue/security/promoter staff have become good friends over the years. We even have security guys from the Palace coming on the cruise in January! “

Because I AM GOING TO BE AT THAT SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! And they can’t wait to be their either! So it should be a really really great show, and that will make me so very very happy, to just let loose and enjoy myself, and in the process remember all the other good times I’ve had and people I’ve met/converted to BNL fans over the last ten years by forcing them to go to concerts with me. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!
