What I did this weekend

- I waited by the door to see if the mailman brought me good news about job applications. He didn’t bring any news, good or bad.
- Checked my email at least a dozen times to see if there was anything about job applications, nothing there either.
- Mopped my kitchen floor.
- Hung out with my 10 month old niece and pretended that yes, Brainy Baby is indeed the coolest toy ever.
- Pried open my apt windows to let some air in on a gorgeous day. Then watched my cats jump from one open window to another all day because it’s the first time in over 5 months it’s been warm enough to have them opened. (another reason to hope for good news from job applications)
- Listened to an unsettling This American Life.
- Due to lots of nervous energy, I finished my first sock ever!
